Who we are
MIMI Babies and MIMI Smart Kids are children's learning apps made by Diviners Group Private Limited ("Diviners Group", "we", "us"), No. 87, 1st Floor, 4th Cross Street, Phase-1, Tirumalai Nagar, Perungudi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600096, India. This policy covers:
- MIMI Babies, for children under 3, and MIMI Smart Kids, for children 4 to 12, on Android and iPhone;
- Make it yours, an optional paid feature inside both apps that turns a child into the app's 3D character; and
- our websites, babies.mimismartkids.com and mimismartkids.com.
Our apps are used by children but chosen and managed by adults, so the parent or legal guardian is the person this policy speaks to and the one who decides for their child.
Playing the apps
Playing collects no personal data at all. Your child can play for years without anything about them reaching us.
- The apps work offline; no internet connection is needed to play.
- There are no accounts and no login.
- There are no ads and no advertising or analytics SDKs.
- Progress, the child's name and settings are stored only on the phone and removed when the app is uninstalled.
Make it yours
Make it yours is reached only behind the grown-ups check in Settings. Nothing is sent until a parent has read what is collected, ticked I agree and paid through Google Play. This is what we receive and keep:

One purchase, both apps
Your family code works in MIMI Babies and MIMI Smart Kids. The first time it is entered in the other app, we link that app to your family with the same number of phones and register that phone there. No new information about your child is collected.
Phones for family
An extra phone, bought from your own phone or on the new one, adds one phone to your family code in every linked app. The new phone is registered only when someone enters your code on it.
How we use your child's photos
- The photos travel over an encrypted connection to our private storage on Cloudflare.
- We upload a photo to Tripo3D, the service that builds the 3D model, on a paid account whose inputs are not used for training. We delete the photo and the job from Tripo3D once the model is exported.
- We finish the character ourselves and publish it to your family code. The photos are not part of the character.
- The photos are deleted 30 days after the character is ready, or as soon as a request is cancelled or refunded.
What we never do
- We never sell personal data.
- We never use your child's photos, name or character for advertising or marketing.
- We never use them to train AI models.
- We never show ads or track your child inside the apps.
Our websites
Our websites use no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. Cloudflare, which hosts them, processes the technical details every website receives (such as your IP address) to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
- Contact form (mimismartkids.com): your name and email, so we can reply.
- Chat assistant (mimismartkids.com, optional): your messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude to write the replies. Conversations are deleted after 30 days. Please do not type a child's personal details into it.
Consent and legal bases
- Consent: Make it yours needs verifiable parental consent: the grown-ups check, a plain explanation, the parent's "I agree" and a payment from the parent's Google account. This follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- Contract: to make and deliver the character you paid for.
- Legal obligation: to keep payment records for tax and accounting.
- Legitimate use: to answer your emails and support you.
For families in the EU we aim to follow the GDPR, and in the US the protections of COPPA. We do not claim formal certification under these laws.
Who processes data for us

Our providers may store or process data outside India. We use them only for the purposes in this policy and choose providers that protect the data they handle.
Security
Everything travels over encrypted connections. Photos and characters sit in private storage that only our server and the phones on your family code can reach, and our administration tools are limited to our office. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to prevent unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
Your rights
As the parent or guardian you can, at any time:
- see the data we hold about you and your child,
- correct it,
- delete it (we delete within 30 days and confirm by email, keeping only what the law makes us keep),
- withdraw your consent, which means we can no longer make or keep the character, and
- complain to our grievance officer.
In either app you can also remove the character from a phone (Settings, Make it yours, Remove the character) or move it to a new phone. Please include your family code (MIMI-XXXX-XXXX) when you write.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act you can contact our grievance officer: Muthuramu Periyaiah, support@mimismartkids.com. We reply within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change affects what Make it yours sends, the app asks for your consent again before sending anything.
